Refuse Collection 

Normal household refuse is collected every Tuesday and Friday.  Refuse must be in strong plastic bags and placed at the end of your driveway for pickup.  Bags must be outside in the proper location by 9:00 am. 

Disposal of lawn clippings and landscape trimmings are the responsibility of the homeowner.  If you utilize a lawn service, the service crew is responsible for removal of the yard waste. 

Any construction debris to be removed, whether interior remodeling or more major items, is also the responsibility of the individual homeowner.  Please be sure that your contractor understands that they must remove all waste and debris as part of the job and cannot place these items outside for Village pickup.  This would include re-roofs, outside painting, rescreening, new patios, tile, and carpet installation.

 Newspaper Collection

During the months of November through April, the Village will collect newspapers each Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Newspapers must be tied, taped or placed in brown paper bags and placed at the end of your driveway for pick up. During the months of May through October, newspapers are not picked up and must be taken to Village parking lot adjacent to the Village Administration Building and placed in their properly marked container.
