In January 2003, the Village of Golf upgraded the Water Treatment Plant to a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis membrane softening treatment process, which is rated to provide one (1) million gallons of water per day. This technology is the most effective and up-to-date water treatment available. The plant is staffed 7 days per week with state licensed operators. There are approximately 2,000 utility customers in our system.Sewer service is provided through a collection system and routed to the South Central Regional Plant, where it is treated under a contract with the City of Boynton Beach. The utility plant is located along Golf Road, across from the entrance to Delray Dunes. The plant also contains two (2) water storage tanks and three (3) underground wells. Residential bills are sent quarterly.
In addition to the residents of the Village of Golf (including Village Square Shopping Center), water and sewer services are provided to Delray Dunes, Quail Ridge South, Indian Hills, Brookside, and a portion of Indian Spring.
