Village Manager

The Village Manager is employed by the Village Council and serves as the administration head of the municipal government, subject to the direction and supervision of the Village Council.  The Village Manager is chosen on the basis of executive and administrative qualifications; need not be a resident of the Village and holds office at the pleasure of the Village Council. 

Christine M. Thrower is currently the Village Manager. A 31-year resident of South Florida, Christine began her career with the Village on June 1, 2015. She spent 21 years in local government, most recently with the City of West Palm Beach as Director of Parks, Recreation and Strategic Planning. She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Penn State University. She lives in Boynton Beach with her 15-year-old son, Drew, her two lab-mix rescued dogs, Taylor and Sierra,  and her 12-year-old Calico Cat, Olivia.
