Online Permitting Portal
The Village of Golf accepts permit applications electronically. It also provides communication regarding a permit, such as the status of your permit, required documentation, scheduling inspections and payments via the electronic portal. The village no longer accepts paper permit applications.
Our goal is to enable applicants to move through the entire permitting process without ever having to come to village hall in person.
Please note: Contractors who already have open permits will not be able to use the portal and will still need to use the old process until that permit or permits have been closed out with all the required inspections passing.
As part of your application, you must submit a completed Universal County-Wide/Municipal Building Permit Application Form. You may download the form here, have it properly signed and notarized, and uploaded as part of your online permit application. ALL ONLINE PERMIT APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE THIS DOCUMENT.

You will be able to register as a Contractor and Owner/Builder, submit documentation, track project status, scheduling inspections and make payments.
As we transition to our new portal, we ask for your patience and understanding. There will be a learning curve and we will have trained professionals to assist with any questions you may have with the new system see below.
Information on dumpster rentals
The Village of Golf is contracted with WM (Waste Management) and permits the use of dumpsters for construction sites exclusively.
No other dumpsters are allowed.
